a photographer, traveling writer and new media consultant who believes, as they say in Italy: "la vita è bella".
I believe in traveling light, emotionally and physically, so I utilize my iPhone as my carry-around camera while I travel (grabbing my dSLR only when work assignments demand it) and enjoy teaching others how they can do the same. I don't believe that life has narrow rules about work and love, I think we all make our own choices and mine involves travel and learning on a near-constant basis. It means that I do make a lot of sacrifices but I don't feel jealous about what others have that I don't. I'm thankful for the opportunities I have been given and for the ones I have the courage to grasp for myself. I wasted 29 unhappy years before I followed my dream to blaze a career in travel. Now, some days I am in front of a camera, most days behind, some days I spend 12 hours writing, editing or being social on networks like Pinterest, some days I am speaking at conferences … every day is different and every day is an adventure.
The bottom line reason I live the life I do is to help other people, even if it's just to inspire them to realize that life doesn't HAVE to be boring or unhappy. What's your story? How can I help you?
"Basically, I love photography - and travel. You could say I travel to take photographs and take photographs to travel." ~Rick Sammon
